So I went to the ETHS reptile expo today (picked up a leucistic bearded dragon, you can see pics of her in the beardie section) and was surprised to hear more than once someone bluntly say that Ball Pythons are "Boring"! "Bigger is better" and "Everyone and their mom has one and they are just so dull" were some of the comments I heard...

I don't necessarily agree with them at all. They come in an amazing spectrum of colors and morph that are usually affordable (yeah, retics get pretty $$$ with some of their designer morphs!) they are pretty much very docile and kind, and what I like is that they get big enough that they can easily be handled yet still be amazed with how big they can get.

I know it's just a rant and you all probably feel the same way as me...but sometimes, people just need to shut up and realize not everyone feels the same way as you...and instead of acting like a jerk, you could say something nice instead and have a mutual good time discussing herps...even if they aren't your favorite. Sure I am not a fan of retics or burmese (mainly because of size and difficulty handling them...), but I have plenty of cool things to say about them.

/Rant off. Thanks for listening. (and go check out pictures of Lucy my new beardie!!)
