I even went so far in college as to subscribe to this weekly email newsletter entitled "How to talk to women" or "How to get a woman's number in 10 minutes" or something to that effect. It was totally ridiculous and basically taught guys how to come off as complete d-bags and only attract shallow women which wasn't what I was interested in doing.

I was the least confident guy you'd ever meet in high school and college, but once you get a little more confidence in yourself and feel comfortable in your own head it gets easier. Stop the self-analysis over everything and just be yourself.
Thank you very much!
