    Do you have any ideas what to put around the screw to fill in the gap ? I was thinking "pool noodle" design, slicing it open and putting it around the screw.
    Only of course it needs to be smaller in diameter. Is there something like that "bendable foam noodly design" that is not as big around ? Perhaps something that insulates cables or small pipes?

    These exposed screws are crazy. Esp. when a snake squeezes itself in between the screw and the housing.
