You haven't spelled out that there ARE any definitive and prove "disabilities". In fact, no one, not even Mike, has proven that bug eyes are super common. So, is the question even pertinent? Or are you saying we need to consider the genetic possibilities on all pairings, eve normal x normal?

No im simply saying that if I know of a combination of genetics that is more likely to produce a bp with a deformity then I'd rather avoid it. I can't tell you that there is definitive evidence that suggests that bug eyes occur at a specific rate among offspring however the general consensus among the people that Ive talked to here seems to be that super lessers, super butters, and butter lessers produce bug eyes more often than that of any other BEL. Now because of that, personally, I have chosen not to produce these crosses at this time.

I understand the benefits of using a super lesser, for example, for breeding and if your projects would benefit from having one available in your gene pool then who am I to say you shouldnt produce that snake and thats what I mean by consider the genetic possibilities. If it made more sense for me to produce a super lesser then I probably would. But if I dont have a reason to produce that specific snake then Id rather produce a snake that has a less likely chance of having a deformity. I say "a less likely chance" because I am unaware of how common bug eyes are among all morphs.

They aren't super common. I'd say i hear about them less than i do about kinking in super cinnies/bps.

EDIT: but ppl shoot for supers of them less than they do of super cinnies/bps, imo
