    RobNJ. I agree that there are circumstances where yes you will spend more than the worth of the animal because of sentimental reasons. I've spent over 2000 on a cat that I got for free as a kitten. And yes I can agree that since I have never seen this snake, that my OPINION of what to do may not be the right one. The OP asked for help. Help comes in all shapes and sizes. From what I've heard and read in this post, the snake needs some kind of assistance soon. My OPINION is that it should be put down or dealt with immediately. And that's all it is, my opinion.
