I've been racing motocross and desert since I was real little, so I've racked up a few... Broken both ankles (right one twice) which just leads to them getting sprained a few times later, dislocated right knee, exploded my left hip, broken my right collar bone 5 times (it's all misshapen and twisted now and sticks up where it doesn't belong), broken left collar bone once, and more concussions than i can remember.

I also tweaked my lower back in a car accident when I was 18, not sure what happened but I think it was just a sprain or something cause the swelling went down pretty fast.

Some of these happened after I got out of the Marine Corps but it was pretty funny; I had to wait for a special day to go get processed through MEPS because some medical specialist was only there a few days a month and they wanted him to see me cause so many joints are messed up. He signed off on me though and said I needed to stop racing haha.

Re: Worst Injury You've Ever Gotten?

Broke my collar bone when I was 5 from falling out of bed. First time my folks tried to remove the rail and guess didn't realize I was a reless sleeper. Had a BB lodged in my forearm which had to be cut out as an early teen. But the all time worst was a tangle with an 18" chop saw. Cut from the corner of the bottom of my thumbnail downwards across and through the joint. Fortunately it was still attached by about an 1/8" piece of skin. Thought I nicked it and went to the bathroom to wash. Still hadn't looked at it but when I rinsed I saw blood everywhere. A boss came up and asked what happened. Told him I think I cut myself BAD. He looked then grabbed me rushed me to the front office and told me not to look lol. I never looked at it until I was in the ER about 5-6 hours later while waiting on a hand spescialist. Sort of wished I hadn't looked.

That must have been a fun swim back to shore.

Re: Worst Injury You've Ever Gotten?

I unfortunately have a bunch but here is three one kinda gross, one pretty serious and one I feel pretty stupid about. First when I was 19 I was working as a mechanic and a customer came in complaining of a belt squeal . I reached down and grabbed the belt to check tension and the old boy started the engine. It pulled my hand through the pulley taking the tips of two fingers just above the nail bed. The hand specialist was able to re attach them. Was a gross drive to the ER with my finger tips sitting next to me in a rag. Second I was dirt track racing in a sprinter when I hit the wall at 100 plus mph. Got a concussion, knocked unconscious , dislocated shoulder, 13 cracks in my ribs and two broken bones in my hand. And lastly I was driving home from work when I had to sneeze and like a fool I tried to stifel it. Big mistake the sneeze actually cracked a rib. Boy did I feel dumb trying to explain that to the doc.

My friend, same one who broke his collarbone on the bike jump, always holds in his sneezes like that. I ALWAYS tell him one day his brains gunna come outta his ears or something. In reality hes gunna bust a rib just like you lmao!

EDIT: also ive noticed a ton of people have broken their collarbones. Some people multiple times. Anyone know if this is a coincidence or if the human collarbone is just really weak?
