I agree with you totally about the housing. Especially for such an aggressive snake. I would have her as a pet in a seperate enclosure thats easier to clean and maintain her in. Also as far as size of the enclosure yea bigger maybe would be better but i know there are some people that keep all there bps in 28qt tubs. To me an adult female deserves bigger than that but i guess everyone is allowed to do their own thing.
As far as them harassing the snake and jumping around...idk. She seems like a genuinely aggressive, ill tempered and nasty snake to me. I mean as soon as they opened the rack she started hissing. Once they put her back in she struck at brian again for no reason. It wasnt really defensive imo bc he wasnt coming at her face or anything and she was already safely back in her enclosure. Everytime he tried to pick her up she tried to bite him. Even aggresive snakes usually calm down a little bit. Now with all this said ill admit i have zero first hand experience with keeping big snakes but ive at least held them and they didnt come at me like satan lol.

I watched people ask about Satan at NARBC... Every time they said her name he sorta went quiet.. She really is mean imo... Which is a rare among Captive burms.

To contribute to the off topic discussion, even if she is genuinely aggressive he shouldn't have made a video about it and posted it online. A little editing and that could be turned into a major weapon against us. That's just my 2 cents.

I didn't say they were easy to get rid of. I say easy to get. An fleas are thelike the black death... we've been fighting them for almost 8 months... just when you think they're gone they come back.

This will sound goofy but it works.

Get a flat pan with at least 1" high sides and fill it with water and a bit of dish detergent.

Get a small clamp-on light and clamp it to the side of the tray.
Turn on the light.

Stick the whole thing under a piece of furniture where it's dark and then sit back and laugh sadistically as the little blood-sucking morons make a leap for that lovely, warm light and then slowly, agonizingly drop into and drown in the soapy water.

It's better than TV.

Put one in every room if you'd like.
They will find it.

You'll be surprised at what else may jump in....such as the huge, fat black spider I found drowned in my pan.

The thought that that thing had previously been running unseen around my bare feet made my skin crawl.

He's got people with video equipment lining up some other educational projects.

The guy is throwing himself totally into fighting this governmental stupidity at the PR level.

I wish him well and will do whatever I can to help.

I'm thinking of making a central 'clearing house' for all the news links, websites and petitions.

I have to do something.

The lives and livelihoods of too many depend on defeating this idiocy.

I've been through the dog "breed ban wars" for decades and I know how this crap works and most of all, how it feels to be unfairly singled out by the enemy camps of peta and HSUS.
