I figured I'd ressurect this old thread because, after some months of not playing at all (and not having a didj around), I decided to go out and make myself a few PVC pipe didgeridoos.

All I did was take a few lengths of PVC pipe (to have a few different tones), 1 1/2 inch diameter, and then found a piece that fits over the pipe for a mouthpiece. All I did for the mouthpiece dip the mouthpiece into the beeswax to form a slightly smaller contact zone for a good seal while playing.

That way I have a transferrable mouthpiece to put on any length of 1 1/2 inch pvc pipe. Right now I'm jammin on a 5.5' section, a GREAT low frequency to play without being too difficult. My second favorite is a 4.5' section, real easy to play and requires less air.

Seriously, the wax cost more than the PVC pipe, cheapest instrument ever, and the best part is that it really sounds GREAT.

Here's a quick snapshop of the mouthpiece, just attaches directly to pvc pipe
