It all boils down to the fact that a Fire is a very visable morph to those of us who know anything about BP's. If a member thinks a fire looks like a normal then they have not seen enough normals and fires close up. That top picture, if it is a fire, is a terrible example of a fire and I would not buy it for $50.00 if it was being advertised as a fire.

My fires must be very light, ghostly, greap lip spots/moustache, light skull markings on the head, pied-like railroad tracks along the belly, orange ringers, light colored eyes, overall different body color (more orange or yellow tint) and very clean belly aside from tracks.. etc etc etc..

There is a quite a few very obvious traits that we look for in Fire. How can you the think everyone would be OK with it when someone comes on here to make a pointless thread just to complain about how they think a fire looks like a normal?? They do not. Plus if you only did an image search for "fire" BP's, I'm willing to bet that snake in your top pic is not a fire. Especially with how young it is. Sure it has a slightly lighter head spot but so does my incredibly dark "normal" female. That is actually a "normal" trait. The head spot on a fire will have a very distinct shape to it. My female fire has a pyramid on her head and my male has more of a skull.

So instead of telling us to get over it, look at about 50 more actual fireballs next to different looking "normals".

Even next to the light normals, there is a huge difference.

No. Heres what it boils down to. People that can't drop something like you. Do yourself a favor and don't post on any topic I ever make because your help and input is as useless as my pinky toe. Did I ever say I didn't like fires? Can you find it smart guy? No. I asked that people drop it because it was causing misunderstanding after misunderstanding, and because it was starting fights...Now you started another one. Why would you post again? There were already 10 or so other people who said pretty much what you said. But you had to say it to feel cool, or accomplished I don't know..? Can you tell me that? Im perfectly aware of that anyone can comment, and I like that. What I don't like is how people talk, and TRY to make someone feel stupid. Why is that so hard to understand? The pictures in the link you just posted ARE more representative of a fire, and had you posted one of that quality next to a normal, that would have a been a more accurate "guess which is which".

Why on earth would I put the BEST example of a fire I could find to compare it to a normal? Don't you think its kind of obvious then? The point was to fool you guys. If there was something I was out to prove, it was that there are some fires that can be an exception to the rule. Not to make an obvious comparison between a sweet fire, and a normal. I wasn't trying to be fair haha, just have a little fun. Which is impossible to have I'm seeing because some people are just too opinionated and its funny because there all on forum sites

I hope that someone comes along and will kindly point out to me where I was trying to make the OP feel stupid with my post. I do not believe I said anything that would warrant name calling and such an on-the-defensive attitude. I wonder if you would be like that in person if this same topic was brought up among a group of people. Probably not as most people would not tolerate that type of response to a comparison debate like this. The internet sure makes people brave and for lack of a better word, just plain mean.

As is were, Fire balls are one of my favorites and that is what this thread on this public/community forum was about. So really. Stop reading so much into what the responders say. Ok Foschi maybe just so you can avoid this happening I will point out where I found your post somewhat offensive.

First paragraph: To those of us who know anything about balls? So what are you saying I don't know anything? And how would you know what I've seen close up? Theres just better ways of wording what you said there, its sounds degrading, and yes I felt like you were trying to make me feel kind of dumb for saying that I think a Fire looks like normal, KIND OF.

Paragraph 3: Well I don't think I need to go too far into that one as to where I could get a little ticked off. Calling my thread pointless. And then saying I'm complaining? See heres the thing, you have to read all the posts. I feel a lot of people don't read threads from the beginning and don't know all that was said and can jump the gun in terms of temper. You can tell how something was intended to be said easily by reading something. Or maybe we can't. Thats why you should remain as neutral as possible in your posts and not say things like that. Maybe you think its harmless, but some might find it offensive(me).

I have never even spoken or saw you on this forum before until I made this thread and you go and talk like that...? Just like you said, I'm pretty sure you would have conducted yourself in a different manner in person. That and not for anything, its my opinion. I think Fire have a normal-esque look to them. So do pastels, yellow bellies, sables, and others...All I mean is by "look like" is that you can see where the morph came from. You can still see the normal in a fire, and in a pastel and so on. What you see, and what I see are obviously two conflicting pictures so no need to push your Fire knowledge on me the way you did especially after all the previous posts, or go on the way you did. I'm sorry for flipping out, but after all the other posts its kind of hard to be patient.
