Negative. Just because an image is in a public forum, does not open that image (or other works) to free public use, unless specified by the original poster of course.
Who deems that the use is appropriate anyways? The person posting someone else’s work? That doesn’t seem right.

Someone posts..."What does a Super Pastel Clown look like ??"
I do an internet seach and post a couple photos (as well as the cool video of the Super Pastel Clown). No one should have a problem with posting this.
Now if I use the pictures on my website, business cards, t-shirts, etc, that is something completely different. If I use someone else's photo and claim it is my snake, that is wrong as well.
Actually you should and for various reasons.
1# It is against our TOS as stated above in my post, those are the TOS each an everyone agrees on upon signing.
2# Common sense would tell you that you should not use other people's property without their consent..........that's called respect and common courtesy.
On a personal level when I post pictures MY animals taken by ME this does not mean I allow people to use those pictures and repost them on any forum.
Those are MY pictures and therefore if they are posted by someone it will likely be by ME unless I gave the permission to someone to use or repost those pictures.
Do I give permission to people to use my pictures?
Yes I do all the time including to my customers who receive full right to the pictures of the animal they purchased, however if I see one of my pictures posted on a forum, myspace, facebook etc and I was not ask for permission I will have that picture taken down........... simple as that for the reason mentioned above respect and courtesy.

Thanks. Everyone has made some rookie mistakes once or twice. Of course there's a difference from a single or second make and a mistake that is done on purpose.
There's some copy-right issues, questions about compensation and a lot more but I haven't had those subjects yet. I can't wait though!
Good luck with it. You're probably going to need a farm with room enough for 3000+ ball pythons.

So, let me get this straight. Hypothetically speaking: I have this pastel, but she's been burned by a heat rock, and is a little skinny. I don't want her anymore, but she doesn't look that good. Do you mind if I post an add with one of your snakes pictures? Oh, or I could take one of the pictures from NERD, they have such gorgeous animals. I'm sure I could use that pic and make a quick sale!
If you don't want to copy-write your material, that's fine. Don't criticize others for wanting to keep unique pictures of their animals for themselves. There is nothing wrong with obtaining permission.

I like these kind of questions. 1) I pressume the buyer has a normal vision and would therefore spot that the animal in question isn't the same animal as shown on the hypothetical photo. I've spent big and I always check my animals. Caveat emptor as we say in college.
Though luck for the buyer. There's also a few other ways to deal with this problem.
2) The buyer would also according to Danish Law (Aftaleloven og Købeloven) be able to sue the seller for fraud despite not living up to the principal of Caveat Emptor, § 47 in Købeloven. I don't know the English word for the laws mentioned.
3) If he someday becomes a big breeder and spots one of his signature morphs or something else then he could turn the malicious seller in to the police. And also start a case for copy-right infringement if certain things are lived up to.
He can't be held responsible for some mischief comitted by a person without him having any relation to the guy. He'll also probably get notified by some buyers or breeders about the abuse of his photo. Advertisers and breeders on forum normally only has one 1 user name.

I was talking about taking a picture from NERD, photoshop it a bit, and then show it to some people on a forum.
I never critized anyone for wanting that, but i just cant understand people taking it so serious
If someone tried to scam other people with a pic of my snake, i wouldnt think it was okay because he tried to scam, but it wouldnt ruin my nightsleep at all that he used my pic!

Sounds like criticizing to me. There are so many things that people can do with pictures now (bad things). If my mojo's reduced pattern turns out to be genetic, I wouldn't want anyone using his pictures as their own.
Besides, it's not like they are asking for a lot. "Hey, can use your photo to play around with photo shop? I just want to see what i can do." Is it breaking your back?
