A diet includes daily food plans, counting/tracking calories, NEVER eating certain things, adding points (Weight Watchers), and basically depriving & monitoring yourself 24/7. My "lifestyle change" is not anything hard-and-fast, and doesn't require any real thought on my part. And with the way I did it very gradually, my eating habits changed before I even realized it. So there is a difference, it's just hard to explain... LOL.
opps,i forgot about the lil fun facts. the bagel is def healthier w/o the jelly and cream cheese(but a bagel plain?ew!)
its all how you eat the bagel
Yup... but you are right, a plain bagel is completely useless. Another tip, if you're a coffee drinker like myself, gradually cut out the cream & sugar (if you use it). I just started adding less and less, and now all I use is a tiny splash of non-fat milk - or take it black. And definitely no "fancy coffee drinks" or smoothies, as they can be silent killers... a frappuchino has up to 400 calories, nearly of half of which is fat, and some Jamba Juices have over 800 calories per cup.
