Your snake is unaffected by red light huh? Please show me the research that backs up your statement....Oh, what's that? You don't have any research...you've just read where everybody said BP's can't see in the red spectrum. Yeah, that's what I thought.

You might have given some thought to the fact that no one has done any substantive research into how different spectrums of light affect BP behavior. I can tell you from my personal observations with my own BP's that they can see under red spectrum lighting....but like every one else, I can't tell you how much they see under red light. I don't see any reason to risk stressing my snakes because it looks pretty. If you want to take the risk, more power to you.
