how have you experianced them being able to pull them open and stuff
They pull out fine for me. I left 1/16" gaps on tops when I made it, so they slide really easily. The lips are enough to get a hold of.

If I start having problems I'll run some 3" flex watt across the shelves, but I'm hoping they continue to eat and grow using only higher ambiant temps.
to be honest this is a good idea, I dont use heat I live in Florida thoe where it stays 90 in my house till at night
