Thanks, that shot came out really weird lol.
I know what you mean too, the day I got my boa, he was really stressed from the whole situation. I was holding him, about to put him away into his new tub, and BAM he struck right at my face. I saw him out of the corner of my eye, starting to shake a little like they do just before they strike their food. I pulled away just in time, and he missed my face by a second. Shaun saw the whole thing, and didn't want anything to do with him. Now he will hold him, once he realized that it was stress related, and he is really a total sweetheart, and really curious about everything. He hasn't even attempted to strike since.
He is also pretty easy to read. I can tell when its not a good day for the kids to be handling him. Other days its fine. I make them sit on the couch and let them hold him for a few minutes. He just wanders all over. Checking things out.
