My advice doesn't change. I'd still try to remove it, gently. Since it could be a scab, I'd probably use a Q-tip moistened with diluted betadine (1:10). If that doesn't work, see if it comes off on her next shed. At one year old, she's probably still shedding frequently. If it doesn't come off, or if it does but comes back, I'd take her to see a vet.

My local vet does do snakes, so I made an appointment for Thursday. With it so close to her eye, I do not feel comfortable trying to take it off unless it comess of with little force.
I did give her a humid hide just incase.
