Yes because Maleficent was that way. She was said to be snappy and bitey. She was just very hungry. Cause I have never seen a snake in complete blue, beige with being pied, actively search and strike a rat. That’s just my experience with snakes in shed. Sounds like MM is a better match-up with your friend-It's strange but even snakes just make better "connections" with some people than with others. I know I've taken in snakes that bit others that don't bite me too, so I wouldn't worry about it- everything worked out for the best.
