Miguel aka Miguelito
Good afternoon!
I know it has been a while. However, this is not the post that I wanted to post regarding my birthday twin. Two weeks ago, I made the decision to rehome Miguel. The decision wasn’t an easy one. I did because I wasn’t giving him the same about of attention I was giving my balls. Mainly due to my work schedule and the fact that I couldn’t work with him while working from home. I did give him to a friend, so that I can go see him whenever I want. However, after i did give him to her, my work schedule changed. I was hurt but I had already agreed, but i did tell her if she get overwhelmed or feel that she can’t take care of anymore, please bring him back home. But this the last picture of my little boy. He had just celebrated his 1st birthday on May 25th, two days before mine on the 27th. Like I said, this wasn’t an easy decision because I waited so long to get a him. But when he arrived, the same friend that has him now, begged me for him. I told her no. And full circle moment, he is now with her.
Thank you Miguel aka Murder Muzzle aka Miguelito for the year and a couple of months you were with me. Love you always. I will be there to visit you.

"Murder Muzzle"? Yep, that's a boa for you. At least he's with a friend & you can visit him & get updates on how he's doing- it's still a hard decision though.

That was the only reason why I agreed to do that. Because I would have done what I done in the past. Set him in a container on my desk and let him get used to me through the smell of my shirt that was in there with him. But I the funny thing, she was like, he was nice and never tried to strike at her. I was like well ain’t that something. Murder Muzzle is not as bad as he was with me. Hmph!!!

Sounds like MM is a better match-up with your friend- It's strange but even snakes just make better "connections" with some people than with others. I know I've taken in snakes that bit others that don't bite me too, so I wouldn't worry about it- everything worked out for the best.

Yes because Maleficent was that way. She was said to be snappy and bitey. She was just very hungry. Cause I have never seen a snake in complete blue, beige with being pied, actively search and strike a rat. That’s just my experience with snakes in shed. Accept for my garage disposal aka my burm.

So see? It's not really "you"- you just didn't connect well with Miguel for whatever reason- hey, it happens. It's not fun to have a snake that constantly tries to bite you, especially when there's a better option for everyone. This way it's less stress for Miguel too.
