    Well, some ppl just hate to admit fear, & maybe your snake sensed it was a stranger, & hissed &/or struck at them when they attempted to do something. They likely "took it personally" & they lost their nerve. Since the others appeared to be taken care of, that would be my guess, anyway. You need a new snake-sitter, unfortunately- one that's more honest, reliable & experienced.
