    Contractors are slammed right now and little jobs like yours are fit in around big whole-house jobs. Unfortunately for you that may mean they want to spend a few hours a day over several days or even weeks on your floor, and there will be days where they don't bother to show up, if you are having something like ceramic tile installed instead of sheet vinyl.
