    Re: When it rains it pours.....

    First, thank you to everyone for your support and kind words. It means a lot to me. My biggest worry with the fixing/remodeling/reflooring of the basement is, of course, the reptiles' well being.

    Secondly, the contractor who is going to re-floor and re-wall the basement wants everything out of and into a pod. Couches, chairs, tables, TV's, speakers, etc. I had to explain a few times that's not an option for them and that we can move the tanks around, but there is nowhere else to put them and that the reptiles cannot go days out of them without potential consequences.

    Katie had to calm me down and then talked to the contractor ad nauseam until it finally clicked, I think. We may have to do the flooring in 2 steps and it might be a little more of a nuisance of all involved, but tough. These are my babies.
