We animal-keepers have to be careful when we "borrow" things made for other purposes. The vents were made for air movement, not the push of a big strong snake,
but honestly I'd never have thought a snake would bend such a thing either. They ARE super-attracted to "fresh air" though, & maybe whatever scents wafted in.
Just glad none were injured.
