What made you want to adopt a snake?

okay this is so cute and i just want to share that my grandmother 100% call my snakes her legless grandbabies HERSELF. she has been the only FULLY supportive family member to my hobby and she LOVES handling them and bragging how badass she is.

she is over 80; she handles my snakes with 0 hesitation: badass level achieved

Pfft, you're pretty darn lucky! My own grandmother can't stand my ball python. Her and a few other of my family members hate snakes. Not to mention she's pretty religious too, so of course she has her beliefs towards them, to put it lightly.
