What made you want to adopt a snake?

i had 2 ball pythons already. i had been in the game for ~3 years when a coworker - at a new job, while trying to get to know me - brings up some family member of hers with a corn snake they don't want. curious, on that new-to-snakes adrenaline where you bring home everything in sight, i pry for info: turns out they want to get rid of it; kids got bored; yada yada. i learn he wasn't fully neglected but severely underfed due to ignorance.

after a 2 months of telling them "maybe" i finally said yes. and he is the best darn thing with no legs, ill tell you hwhat.
