    Poor snake...I hope there's nothing wrong with him that your quick intervention & "TLC" can't fix.

    Many years ago I "rescue-bought" a 5' female w/c/imported BP that a family had for about a year after buying from the pet shop that imported her. I wasn't
    in the market for a BP but they weren't asking a lot ($40) & it sure sounded like she needed help. I was right...their son had lost interest, & the only heat (in
    a well-air conditioned desert home!) was a hot rock that had broken & was unplugged for some time...AND the poor snake was covered with TICKS! They said
    "oh, we thought those are just her scales...?" And they asked me if I wanted a dog too....they had 2 & since both adults worked full time (as realtors) their
    carpet was covered with doggy poo/pee stains...but while I couldn't take a dog, my mom did! She went with me out of curiosity, LOL...I come from a family of
    animal lovers & we did what we could, not one regret & TLC to spare. So good luck with your new "baby".
