Jumpstart thermostat

....Considering the herpstat 6 is about $450 and the Jumpstart is about $30, I'd have to go through almost (15) Jumpstart units to reconcile the price difference. I understand the herpstat has more bells and whistles but I don't really need those.

I totally understand where you're coming from, except that you also have to consider the "cost" of a failure, not just the cost to replace the thermostat itself- but
also the potential loss of snakes or harm to them. Horrible to think about, too bad Herpstats are so pricey.
