    foggers with really fine mist particulates are thought to be a cause of RIs, but other than that, if it is working for you, rock on man.
    I have the same issue. once I switched to bioactive though, it keeps my bp perfect in a glass tank.
    now I have him in a 4ft glass tank with a pro heat rhp and led lights and a mistking that runs twice daily for a few seconds. there is an initial humidity spike, like you are saying, but it goes down in 30-40 mins.
    he has perfect sheds every time, and his feeding response is just as good as my hognose now, if not better. now darn near every time I enter the room he is perked up and looking for food.

    to help insulate though it does have a foam background on 3 sides.
    for airflow you can try computer fans. I got 2 and a controller for about 30$ on amazon. I paid a little more for quieter fans though.
