The book series continues with several off shoots. Who knows if we will see more?

I am both offended and curious at the same time. It doesn't even matter if it is about the hilarious lack of basic understanding of a cornerstone of American cinema or the overly light and giant opening of these new hides, it is far too early for me to understand how someone is messing with everyone and that there is a new hide I might need to check out.

I need coffee to handle this!

I find round hides not a bad thing at all. Of course for our rectangle cages and tubs, rectangle hides make sense. But it forces the snakes into right-angle shapes, which is not very natural for them, LOL. Although I don't think it bothers them? Some just spill out of the rectangle hides in order to curl up in a round shape.

I don't like the way those new hides look, though. On the larger ones the opening is to big, doesn't afford much privacy to the snake. Plus they look terribly cheap.

This is one I made myself. I needed a LARGE one for my big boy, so I got this really big plastic planter at Lowes. I did have to cut some of the length off and then I cut a door into it. I smoothed the edges with sand paper until they weren't sharp at all.

I like this one because it almost looks like something you would find in nature. It has this cool texture to it. I hid the ugly top (bottom of the planter) with a rock and plant. Jag approves

When he curls up in it he actually has quite a bit of room left still.
