Hello! My name is Kelly Davis, and I am doing an analysis of how people on ball-pythons.net create their online identity by using reading and writing. I am hoping to bring awareness to a community that I have observed from the outside and use it to further a scholarly conversation about learning through literacy in forums. 2. How do you use reading and writing in your threads?

3. How have you created a personal identity on ball-pythons.net?

4. How did you learn the information you know now on ball pythons?

5. Have you used the forum to learn any new information? If so, detail what thread and how?

1. By providing helpful information, cute pictures and sometimes by being funny.
2. Well I tend to read threads. And when I respond, I write. Kind of the bread and butter of text based communication.
3. I don't know if I really have much of a personal identity on this form. But recently we've had quite a few introduce yourself threads.
4. A lot of what I've learned has been from this thread, books and even a tiny bit from working at petsmart.
5. Yeah I can't pick any one thread. There's been tons of helpful threads.
