I advise following what Deborah pointed out if you haven't already. Hides and smaller tubs are like security blankets for a hatchling.
You MUST get a thermostat for the UTH and you MUST get a dimmer for any heat lamps. The poor beep will be so hot and stressed it for sure won't eat and it will dehydrate!
Vivarium Electronics or Spider Robotics make reliable thermostats. And Home depot carries dimmers.
On average, ambient temps should not fall below 75f or go above 82f. When Coco was a tiny hatchling at 68g, I had her in a 9qt Really Useful Box. I drilled holes for ventilation. If you're based in the U.S.A they're sold at Staples.
You'll get this sorted! I had an awful time the first couple of weeks when I got Coco back in September. The lovely folks here helped me get her out of an awful stuck shed, eating properly and now she's past the 220g mark!
