Accurite certainly is one of the top of the line thermo/ hygro makers. I really think its a good idea to have two thermo/ hygros so you can get a range of where you're at. Then the ir temp gun for further accuracy as far as the surface temps go. When i'm incubating eggs i use at least two thermo/ hygros and sometimes three.
