Eye help!!
So my ball python shed a few days ago, not very well either. We adjusted the humidity to be higher and it's been about 70% since. He has a bit left on the top of his head/face. The concerning part is that it appears he has a scrape on his eye. I'm not sure what to do or if it is something to do with the shed. I am a first time owner and am worried.

I tried to copy and paste a picture (I'm on my iPhone) and not sure if it came out I can't figure out how to post a picture from my phone

Re: Eye help!!
looks like they eye cap(s) didn't shed off due to poor hydration/humidity. next cycle make sure the humidity is ~70% so the snake has a complete shed.

We've adjusted it and for the past 3-4 days it's been ~70%. Just tried and sprayed him a few hours ago in hopes that it'll help, but was unsure if it truly was poor eyecap shedding or not. Thank you so much for responding, I am definitely a worrier. Just want what's best for him!

I also saw him drinking out of his water bowl yesterday for a bit, so i know he's drinking at least

don't worry about keeping the humidity above 70 now; he already shed. wait for the next she'd to boost humidity.
don't let the humidity drop below 55% in the enclosure.

Do I just let him be for now until his next shed or do I try and help him get the rest off? My girlfriend and I wet a q-tip and tried to gently rub his head (which he seemed to enjoy) but didn't seem to help much.

Don't help.
I would add damp moss to the hides and let the snake take care of it.

I do actually have some sphagum moss on the cool side for him which he really loved while he was actively shedding. I suppose he will figure it out for himself. The temperatures and humidity are in the ranges they should be, I probably am just worrying. if it was just his skin I wouldn't be as worried but his eye looking that way concerns me
