    Thanks Chris. I started a separate thread on this because this thread wasn't getting much traffic. A few others chimed in and that was the same thing they said. It is a good idea. I did tie it off with floss and cut the small mass off. I don't know if the fluid was moving between them but the content in the small mass was opaque and thick, like the consistency of Vaseline. Kind of nasty. I hope I won't loose the egg but it isn't very well calcified and has a couple of windows in it as well. I'll post updates along the way.
