Since I have a bunch at this point I just let my kids name most of the snakes. The few I know I'll probably never sell I usually try to name something with more back story. I also have a short list of names I plan to name future hold backs.
I'm crazy for Swayze, my leucistic burm. Mystique the mystic, because I wasn't feeling creative and xmen. Happy, a 3000g Lesser I got from Dave that tried to eat my phone when she came out of the bag. Cherry - was going to stick with pie names for my pieds but she's the only one that I did. Other pieds are Bindi, Lego, Pi. Houdini is my big mocha magic guy. Kids named Batman, Twilight Sparkle, Oogie Boogie, Lasagna (she was quite the fat noodle when I got her), Mr. Bojangles, Large Marge, Wench (has an anchor shape), Guppy, Frank, Olaf, Upgrayedd, uhmmm.. about 10 more but I think the kids are catching on I'm just hiding in the bathroom..

Her name is Calypso, but 9 times out of 10 I just call her "snek" or some variation of that. I'm real creative

Drizzle- It was drizzling when she arrived that morning.

Blissey- My first "proven female" to lay my first clutch, so I named her after the egg pokemon!

Togetic (sold now, but still)- I just like the pokemon.
I like the name Drizzle it's unique I've not herd that one before there is some good names coming up from everyone

    Re: Your Ball Python Name

    Mine are old English names.

    Some of the boys are:
    Nigel
    Myles
    Oliver
    Reginald
    Finley

    Some of the girls are:
    Margaret
    Emily
    Florence
    Penelope
    Victoria

I have quite a few more that I have yet to name. It takes a while for them to reveal their personalities and then I have an easier time picking one.

My girl is Athena, as soon as I saw her the name just clicked. Now being involved with more people I notice how many other reptiles are named after Greek gods.. oh well, she's still perfect and unique to me!
