my python hasn't ate on day the day he usually does but he did strike at his food. my friend is coming over later is it ok to handle him or take him out later in a few hours??

I would not, if he did strike it was a defensive strike, im having the same issue with one of my snakes, and im keeping stress to a minimun and no handling until she eats again, i only go in her cage to change the water and try to give her food. Its more important to get him to eat than to handle, youre gonna have 20+ years to handle. Do you feed in a "feeding box"?
