    I use an LED RGBW light strip fastened to the entire top perimeter, with a programmable controller. I like that I can set the white and red LEDs to each be on for 12 hours with a sunrise and sunset (brightening and dimming over the course of an hour). you need the plastic clips that screw into the PVC (ask me how I know). They are super bright. I have the white lights at 7% at the height of the day and the red at 3% in the beginning of the evening and going to 2% after Midnight. Even with the red LEDs at 2%, I can see the entire inside of the enclosure.
