Judging by the terrarium in the back, I would assume that's a classroom snake and probably doesn't mind being held by students sometimes.
But I'm in the same boat as most of you. Unless your snake is used for educational/ambassador purposes, I wouldn't personally risk taking them out. Too many risks. It's a shame, since I'd love for people to meet mine and see that snakes aren't scary slimy creatures, but for my snake's sake, I leave him at home. Especially since he's a ball and would just get immensely stressed by the whole experience. Instead, when people are over, I invite them to come see and touch him. Much less stressful and risky.
