I spent today in St Augustine with family, wandering about looking at all the tourist stuff, St George Street and eating lunch and talking! It was a grand day! I'm sunburnt and I have new AWESOME pants and a 2 lb bag of various candy.

Weather was as glorious as it looks in the pic. I even dug out my floppy hat so I did the full-on tourist cosplay!

Speaking of weather, right? It's been a beautiful past few days. With me living in Louisiana October/September is my favorite weather.

I voted early today, no wait, no fuss. I also found out the warning light on the car is just a scheduled "Hey it might need a oil change" but it doesn't, so I figured out how to turn it off myself! After two people told me that it took a qualified mechanic or the dealer to turn it off no less.

So this weekend, I went to the Fire class, people used my pipkin pottery pots to cook in, proving they work perfectly, visited with family there... then sunday went to see family and spend the day in St Augustine, then today got the car info, did laundry, voted and got my info about a costume and am now looking at stilts, because reasons.

I finally bit the bullet and ordered a pair of Oakley sunglasses. The positive part being I was able to get them $47 cheaper than what they're listed for due to them having a program for law enforcement/military. I could of likely gotten them a bit cheaper than that off eBay but I have a hard time trusting things like that which so many fake ones being sold. At least now I know I've got an authentic pair.

The patterns is always cleaner / In somebody else's tank / You dream about owning all them / But that is a big mistake / Just look at the herps around you / Right here on the bedroom floor / Such wonderful things around you / What more is you lookin' for?
