AWW! Congrats and welcome!!! It's always super exciting to open a box of noodle!

More like cute blob noodle, because there's nothing dangerous about these noodles LOL.

I'm not sure which one you have, but I had one that I purchased at petsmart as well for my first BP and he shoved himself way deep inside. I got scared thinking he was stuck because he packed himself in so far and deep and it was feeding day! I tried feeding him and he didn't come out or strike at the rat. Took him three or four days to finally see him out of it, so then I immediately removed it. I recommend doing some more searching around here on the site and you'll find more instances like mine and how they filled up the log or just removed it if you do choose. You can also see examples of it on YouTube. I hope this gives you some insight and helps!
Hi! Thank you so much, I'm very excited about him! I haven't fed him yet, but I will try in a couple more days to give him more time to settle in. The log I have is like a normal lookin piece of driftwood thats hollow all the way through. He stays near the end of the piece where there's an opening on the back side. So he's not really inside of the log just laying there like a string all spread out! Haha. He does go through it from time to time but I think he's realizing it's almost too tight of a squeeze lol. He comes out a lot at night and I plan to feed him at that time so I don't think it should be a problem. If it does start to hinder his feeding response, I'll be sure to remove it! Thanks for sharing!

Thank you! I adore the blob noodles!! I'm so happy with my little guy. He's got such character to him. He was super stressed and struck about 5 times the first day! Now he's tame as a rock. Hahaha
