Thank you for wanting to be a planned problem for the rest of those around you and those of us in this hobby that try to open peoples eyes.
That being said, why in your ever loving self centered mind would you take on more animals that you do not plan to be a responsible keeper to?
Yes it is a truthful question.
Did you ever think of how your actions represent the rest of those that are around you and those that may come after you?
Thank you for your most..my relevant thoughts. Being closed minded is not the issue in the situation except on the oposite side, I am a psychologist that spends everyday attempting to show my patients thousands of different things way of looking at a situation to find the best reasoning or pathway to take steps to solve obstacles with ease and tenderness, which is what I am doing here. I live in a area where I cannot speak about my hobby at work or I will hear "your really gonna keep one of those things around when you will be having a child?" And "when that thing gets as big as your cars and eats you, you will regret it." I need to more to have extra room for our child and snakes, I've spoken to 5 landlords all who allowed pets (I also have a toy wiener and 2 mice I cannot hide so avoiding a pet deposit is not the problem) and all of them turned me down and would not speak to me because owning a snake is a symptom of being insaine within 200 miles each direction!
Now the comment below you seems to be more precise with his/or her conclusion and understands that my plan is to avoid loosing another possible dream home of my fiances by playing off the lease which does not specifically state that snakes are prohibited because people in their right mind would have one. So I need something nice to keep the collection in while being able to cover it neatly as needed to completely keep suspicions at a minimum to avoid having an issue. With that being said, It does suck more people are not more understand of the real nature of these animals and are blinded by horrible depictions of evil intentions of every snake they see on t.v. I spend everyday trying to educate that just because something is different or not understood by yourself dousnt mean you must ruin another person's life because of it. But now I am faced with a choice, do I loose more and more possibilities of the houses we need and want simply because they are not educated. My wife, my daughter, and my animals are my only family and I will do what I must to give them the best. I don't have alot of options for what we want and since we have to have pets it cuts our search into 1/4th what it could be so even more reason to take drastic measures and use wording and secracy to do what I must do. I appreciate your concern I'm glad you wish everyone to understand our love for our animals but I need help, not a lecture. I need a sizable house, not a cardboard box with "with snakes do not rent to" written on it to ruin my chances of having a house near my job.
