Did you try the belly-rub for your hide, and did it work in getting your snake into it instead of climbing on top?

Because I acquired a young ball python 4 weeks ago and have a lot to learn. I hope this is a proper forum for new ball python owners to find out about their snakes, and about hides, and about shedding, and about feeding, and about other aspects of good reptile husbandry.
