When she gets that way I just take my girl out of her tub and all of the sudden mom is ready to go home.

religion, its all (and within the brackets, imagine i just said the obvious, instead of going for HORSECRAP).

sadly, thats all religion ever does. false realities, unfounded stereotypes, talking and walking snakes, people surviving being swallowed by a ginat fish (or whale) for 3 days, global flood, trumpet sound destroying walls, stopping the orbit of sun and moon, turning sticks into snakes, turning water into wine, and after mysteriously murdering all first born males of whatever area, let it rain frogs!

when people go after what you think is right with their righteous indignation, you have two options:

1: say nothing and let it slide. if possible, its a good option. it works. or be very specific.

or 2: demolish their faith. show no mercy, and go after the other horsecrap their holy book says. when your book says that a human can live after being swallowed by a giant fish/whale for 3 days, i say my snakes can be completely benign and harmless. for that, you need to know the beliefs of the person you are dealing with, and then hit them hard. and then tell them that you RELIGIOUSLY *believe* that your snakes are harmless. if they dont buy it, go on demolishing the base beliefs of their particular kind of faith. the ten commandments (if you ever looked up the actual king james bible text) are a prime target. death penalty for so many of them, really?

when people attack your snakes for religious reasons, attack their religion for reasons of common sense, and rip that old testament stuff a new one. and they may turn out to be fundamentalists that deeply despise you forever, or they may deconvert and be good friends forever, always remembering that you helped in liberating them. religion is NOT here to stay.
