Well it is good that she ate.Everyone has their own way to do stuff, and nothing you are doing is harmful to the snake, so if you are happy, and the snake is healthy, no need to fix something that isn't broken.
Though, I would feed a slightly larger prey. About the same size round as the widest part of your snake.
