    Re: dumb question but need help

    What kind of gauge are you using to read your humidity? The circle analog ones aren't very accurate. If your substrate stays damp, it definitely should be above 40%.

    I'd suggest switching to something digital like an Acurite thermometer with a humidity sensor.

    Also, definitely decrease the fog amount and add a timer. With the substrate always being so damp, your BP can develop scale rot and you have a chance of getting mold.
