I'm not sure what your talking about with a 5 degree difference,lol,I actually have no idea what your talking about

im using a 100 watt day time heat lamp during the day obviously .and a 75 watt zilla red basking bulb at night..

and my temps are as described and if you are questioning my 5 degree diff,I'm stating depending the situation and what my apt gets during let's say winter and summer..no AC on or the AC on, the heat on or off,winter season or summer season..my apt isn't exactly 70 degrees year round,I live in NY,have diff seasons..
