What turns you on?

I get that a girl would like a guy that cooks but are there any girls out there that like a guy that makes beer?

My bf has made his own stuff, I don't drink but it was nice to see him do his own thing with it. On that note it's a turn on when a guy is passionate about something (like a hobby or whatnot).

Strictly physical I like big arms and tattoos, which none of my exs had but I lucked out on with Dustin It's also a turn on when you know the person thinks you're beautiful, attractive, etc and not just saying whatever to be nice or because that's what a good boyfriend "should" do. Dustin loves me regardless of my flaws. :3

I can't think of any G-rated answer to the question "What turns you on?"

But I like when a guy knows how to compliment a girl. Not just "Damn girl u sexy" or "I like white girls" (I got that line yesterday. Seriously.) but stuff like "you look AMAZING in that dress" or "how did I get so lucky to be with you?". That mushy stuff that makes your heartbeat spike.

I'm the complete opposite. All that "you look so beautiful blah blah blah" crap actually makes me like the guy less I figure if a guy is trying to start a conversation on what I look like, he doesn't have much to say because that is a pretty boring one-sided topic. Of course there are exceptions, but it's a trend I've noticed in the people that say those things.

Really though, I think she was just talking about the difference between flattery and a compliment, that she prefers to be complimented over being flattered if something is going to be said.

I'm not saying a guy has to lay it on thick, because that does get annoying after a while. I just feel that if you're gonna try and compliment a girl (or guy) you should put more effort in than just "I think you're hot". I told the guy who said he liked "white girls" that that's not really a compliment, since I was BORN white. No effort put in there, and there's TONS of white girls so you could say that to literally ANYONE who was Caucasian and female. Not very complimentary if you ask me. xD
