Unless I want to spend a few thousand dollars per animal it'll be a few years of growing up the ingredients that I need. I'm wanting a moonglow aztec. Im cheap so i'm looking at picking up a moonglow female this year and an aztec male next year. So raise them up until maybe 2016 (if i'm lucky and they grow steadily)and produce my hets. hold back female aztec het moonglows from that pairing and repeat the original pairing in 2017 and hold back male aztec het moon glows from that year. and hopefully pair the aztec het moon glows in 2020. If the odds gods favor me i'll get a super aztec super hypo moon glow or two. lol and i'm looking at 6 years to get my sunglow arabesque if my girl dont prove out het for albino. pairing in 2014 Sunglow male x hypo arabesque 66% pos het albino. so if i dont hit the odds or she dont prove out it'll be like 2018 before im likely to pair one of the arabesque 100% het albino females from the 2014 pairing back to dad. I could buy a sunglow arabesque but evenstar bought the best lucking one i've ever seen so if I cant have that one i'm obligated to make my own. lolOriginally Posted by Evenstar
I think there really are nearly as many morphs in boas as there are in balls, or at least the possibility is there. But boa morphs are still kind of "up and coming" while there are new ball morphs popping out every year. Boas are slower to mature, thus slower to prove out.
