You should never lower your hotspot temps only the ambient room temps.

Really, I lower my hot spot...

If 79 is your hot spot your asking for trouble.

I never lower my hot spot temps, I allow the rooms ambient air temperature to drop to about 73 but my hot spots stay at 92ish year around.

My night time hot spot goes below 79...No troubles here...
