Try using shorter ones. Cut the ones you have down to 3feet. If you give the plant the oppurtunity to keep growing taller then it will. But if you keep the cages at only 3ft then the plant will reach that height and stop putting all its energy into growing taller and will put the energy towards bearing fruit.Originally Posted by DrDooLittle
Naw, this was a cold salad. But those are the big cages, like 4-5 feet. Dang things are as tall as me. We just don't get much sun here.There are maters there, just not getting ripe. Typical for here....
