Regular albinos will have that bright highlighting as well.

lol . . .I get you man. I'm just trying to understand how to tell the difference. LIke I said I have 2 albinos since babies and neither had the color of body, markings or eyes as this one. Then again they're low contrast. No matter what I got a deal.

Couple of words of advice that especially apply to CL purchases:
    1) Don't believe everything you hear
    2) A sucker is born every minute
    3) Don't be a sucker
That advice is right on the nose...

I've gotten 3 off of CL both from the same person who bought his from breeders (got cards, genetics, etc). I just caught him while he was going through marriage issues and got a lot of stuff for cheap. He sold me a stand, bee, regular, tubs, and herpstat for $500.

Wasn't looking at a snake, actually was looking to see if my post for my albino was showing and saw his. Other than that gett them from shows or breeders I meet at shows.

The difference is about $2k...lol. From what I notice, laves usually have a larger/darker orange "head spot". Also...The eyes are obviously darker red...even moreso than the eyes on yours.

Also when snakes that have portions of white pattern on their bodies go into shed the white gets a pinkish hue to it. Maybe your dude is about to shed. Give him a couple more days and see if he sheds. I have no experience with lavs or high contrast albinos or let alone normal albinos so I dont know the extent of the "tint" that shows up in their whites but I do have a pied and an albino spider whos white turns pinkish when in shed. Your albino is a smoking little guy though!

Great points! I didn't really think of that. My two albinos you can't tell by looking at them they're going into shed. I can only tell the female becuase she refuses food. My reg male albino eats up to shed so I really have no idea when he does it. I haven't had him long enough to really track a pattern.

Thanks for the info. I love this site, you get really good info.
