That is a very nice looking albino! But I don't know about the lavendar part.

Nice albino! Not a lav but it is deff a high contrast albino. The pink color can be caused by a lot of things, when my albino and pied are both sitting on the hot side after a little the white parts seem to have a pink tint, and on cold since its gone. I think of it as when humans are hot and warm they sometimes get red faces because More blood is being circulated.

Yeah I have been sending it to a couple of people I have bought other snakes from (breeders) and 4/6 said it was, the 2 were adament it wasn't. Either way it was a good deal for it. If it turns out to be a lavendar, that much better!

So what would it have to have to be a lav? Or what doesn't it have that makes it not look like one? This is fairley new to me as I jsut started this year. Would it help if I took a pick on something white? He is in a bag at work, so right now not on heat.

I'm getting good info, so I appreciate the time.

It's not a Lav, but still a good price for a nice looking Bino.

Couple of words of advice that especially apply to CL purchases:
    1) Don't believe everything you hear
    2) A sucker is born every minute
    3) Don't be a sucker

Sorry but from what I can tell that's just a High Contrast Albino. Lavenders have dark ruby eyes and are unmistakable. Albinos can have bright or a little dark red eyes but there is a huge difference between the two. Lighting can also make it look like it's lavender but it will lighten up and the orange will turn to yellow and the eyes will stay red.

For reference here is my founding male High Contrast Lavender as a baby (this is in bright lighting as well):

You might have missed what I said orginally. The guy I got it from didn't say it was a lav, he said it was a normal, It looked like a lav to me. I bought it from him because I had purchased a rack and a bee from him before.

I didn't miss what you said, I was just giving some general advice for dealing with CL purchases.

OP, it's a beautiful high-contrast Albino. Hopefully it turns out to be a Lavender, but I see a high-contrast. That pink tint may be from it still being small. My girl had that tint when I got her and with every shed it goes away more and more.

so it looks like a distinguishing characteristic is the orange highlighted or bordered by some yellow (based on google search & your picture. Below is a closer pick of mine. I see the same highight.

Dude...Your snake is and Albino...Not a Lavender. No matter how hard you look and how many pics you take. Still a nice snake though.
